#12 Carolina Gamec*cks at #11 Clemson Tigers

A MOvember to Remember
Location: Memorial Stadium, Clemson, SC
Kickoff: 7:00pm
TV Coverage: ESPN
Radio Coverage: WCCP.FM
Well, here it is.  The third home game in a long stretch for the Tigers and in comes Spurrier and the Chickens.  I've been reading lots and lots of blather about this game, with air-headed, sycophantic, SEC loving, mouth-breathers claiming Clemson will surely lose.  Again.  Well, let me tell you, folks, the Tigers will win this game.  I was uncertain about the past three games, in this stretch, sure.  What Clemson fan who remembers Bowden and Spence wouldn't be?  However, I can uncategorically state that this year against the Columbian Chickens, Clemson will win.  How do I know?  Well, let's just move on to... .
KEYS TO THE GAME:  1.) Clemson hosting after three big ACC wins.  Psychological Advantage: Clemson.  2.) Dabo pissed off after several loses to the 'Cocks and also what Spurrier was saying back during the Lattimore deal.  Pissed off Head Coach Advantage: Clemson.  3.) Lattimore's teammates having to watch that shit go down in real time.  Psychological Scarring Disadvantage: USuCk.  4.) The Gamecocks think they are badasses from the SEC and are definitely drinking the kool-aid and believing the hype.  I mean the ACC couldn't even hold onto Maryland, right?  Arrogant Jerk Trap Disadvantage: Beaked Fruit Loops.

Clemson will win.  I expect Taj to do a lot of scrambling, but it will be north/south and lead to first downs and TDs.

  2. Yeah, you would have to break that game down into halves. First half would definitely be up near Danny territory, but the second half would be down beyond ham sandwich and near Ken Hatfield. The entire game reminded me of the FSU game. Ah, well. At least we beat VA Tech again this season.

  3. Yep, us along with Miami, Pitt, my grandma, Cincy, your grandma, and Rob Spence. Hell, they had a close game against Bobby Petrino's motorcycle if I recall correctly.

  4. Man, that was a tough game to watch in person. I think I felt claustrophobic forthe first time in my life in the 4th quarter. Damn gamecocks. We have had a good year, though. Should get a good bowl out of this year. No more GAYlord Bowl for us this year!

I agree with dwight, at least we beat Beamer. Those guys gave use hell for YEARS under bowden. I gotta believe Dabo will take outr spurrier soon, too. He feels that pressure now dont think he doesnt.

  5. @thedabokoolaid: That's bullshit and you know it. Petrino's motorcycle is way too cool to even be involved with football. It plays chess with topless Japanese models.

@Anon: I am sure it sucked to watch that game in person. Yeah, I hate Sakerlina, but it's tough to decide which Clemson team is better: Bowden who routinely beat Sakerlina and lost to everyone else or Dabo who beats everyone else and loses to Sakerlina. We need a third option here and hopefully we will get it next year, if The Chad stays. Until then, bring on the bowls.
